Estimated date the church was first built making Union Grove one of the oldest churches in Alabama.

First written record of the church in which Willie Thompson and his wife Elizabeth gave the land to the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Construction on Morton Hall is completed, followed by the library and the University Center in 1969.

The last year in use as a chapel until 1962 when it was temporarily used as hay barn.

Harvie Jones proposes to relocate church to the UAH president, Benjamin Graves.

In September of 1973, Mrs. Frank Bendall agrees to move the church.

In December of 1973, the church's move to the UAH begins.

Moving the church proved to be more difficult because of its height which exceeded the height limit law.

In January of 1974, the church finally makes it to UAH's campus.

Restoration efforts begin with the leadership of Jeff Bayer and help of student volunteers.

New additions were added to modernize the church.

The church, now known as Union Grove, is first used as an art gallery.
